Abstract :

The importance of the Prophet Abraham and his sons in Abrahamic religions are known to all. Therefore, each of the monotheistic religions  of Judaism,  Christianity and  Islam tries  to  show  its connection  to  this  Prophet.  Understanding  personalities  of the Prophets in the Torah and the Qur'an can be the best device for familiarity with these personages and those religions and the best subject in interreligious  studies.  The present paper tries to do something in this way by investigating the characteristics of these personages in the Torah and the Qur'an,  and enumerating the similarities and differences of views of the Torah and the Qur'an on these divine prophets.
